This internationally known law firm selected WMA to provide MEP/FP/IT designs for the organization’s relocation. As the anchor tenant of a new building at 300 N. LaSalle Drive, the firm occupies approximately 625,000 square feet or 24 of 60 stories. WMA supported an interior build-out consisting of conventional office space and associated areas, including a balcony, a mail room, warming kitchens, and a two-level conference center which operates on a 24/7 basis.
In addition, the work included a 10,000 square foot data center, which the WMA team protected with a supplemental cooling system connected to the base building chilled water risers, a parallel redundant uninterrupted power supply (UPS) system, and a 2,250 kW standby diesel generator for constant operation. The project earned a LEED Silver rating in the Corporate Interiors category.
