WMA provided engineering design services for a grade K-12 school housed in two separate high-rise buildings located in the Lakeshore East Development in Chicago, Illinois. The elementary school is a 10-story, 86,000 square foot building. The building includes classrooms, dining, cafeteria, science laboratories, music and art classrooms, and a multipurpose area. Support areas for the school are also included. A multi-story atrium open to the classroom floors complements the lower portion of the building.

The high-rise building for the grades 5-12 is approximately 235,000 square feet and 16 floors. Two floors of underground parking at 24,000 square feet each are included for an unrelated tenant. The upper school program includes an auditorium, administration space, pool and athletic area, performing arts studios, gymnasium, art studios, classrooms, dining, cafeteria, library and science laboratories. The school was built to act as a campus system with similar features, which also allows for the sharing of facilities.
