WMA designed the MEP/FP systems for DePaul University’s state-of-the-art music school facilities. This project involves 3 separate buildings over 185,000 gross square feet. The anchor of the proposed complex is a 535-seat concert hall, a 150-seat large recital hall and an 80-seat small recital hall. The former Music School building will be converted to Music North and will remain as the administrative hub for the School of Music. The three-story building will house offices, classrooms and teaching studios. Music South, the former Chapel building, will be renovated to accommodate a 200-seat Opera Rehearsal Hall and supporting spaces. The estimated construction cost is $110 million.
