WMA provided MEP/FP systems design services and energy modeling for this three-story, 15,000 square foot project for DePaul University. The project included sustainable features such as energy efficient HVAC and lighting systems, storm-water collection, retention and filtering systems, water-efficient landscaping, a partial green roof and reflective roof coatings, which reduced energy consumption by 17.6%. The museum was awarded LEED Silver certification by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) for its sustainable design and construction principles.
