WMA provided HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire protection services for this two floor, 550,000 square foot new construction project which included an auditorium for large student activities and gatherings. Special design features included: carbon dioxide monitoring in the ventilation system, systems commissioning, indoor air quality management system and an innovation in design credit for a condensate recovery system that utilizes the condensate from the air handling units to provide make-up water to the cooling tower system. This project was LEED certified and serves as one of Illinois’ pre-eminent examples of public sponsored “green” projects.
